Time Traveler's Arrival

Static wide shot: A deserted crossroads in a dusty 1880s Western town at high noon. Tumbleweeds roll slowly across the dirt road. Suddenly, the air at the center of the crossroads begins to distort and shimmer like heat haze, intensifying rapidly. A sphere of crackling blue-white energy expands outward, kicking up dust and sending wooden signs swinging. Lightning arcs outward from the sphere, scorching the ground in geometric patterns. The sphere collapses inward and a figure in modern tactical gear materializes, crouching, one hand on the ground. Residual electrical arcs dance across their body and equipment. The dust settles slowly around them as they stand and survey the old wooden buildings and empty hitching posts.
