TL;DR

Thirty-five copy-paste ChatGPT couple photo prompts that edit a photo of two people in ChatGPT Images 2.6 while keeping both faces, skin tones, hands, and the space between you as shot. Six categories: keep-both-faces fixes for exposure, clutter, glare, and blinks; aesthetic looks from golden hour to moody low-key; pre-wedding and engagement scenes; anniversary cards, diptychs, and collages; two-photo composites for long-distance couples that match scale, eye line, light direction, and shadow softness; and fun pieces such as cartoon versions, a holiday card, and a poster with readable names. Every prompt names both people by position and forbids feature blending.

ChatGPT couple photo prompts are edit instructions attached to a photo of two people that put both of you on the keep list before describing the change. The usual failure: the prompt protects one face, and the model redraws the other or blends features between the two. Each of the 35 below names the person on the left and the person on the right, lights both faces from one side, and forbids blending.

What Makes ChatGPT Couple Photo Prompts Work

Without the Select tool, ChatGPT Images 2.6 regenerates the whole frame from your photo plus your instruction. With two people in it, that leaves two faces, four hands, two skin tones, and the space between you open to change unless the prompt closes them.

Put both people on the keep list, by position. "Keep our faces" protects neither of you well. "Keep the person on the left and the person on the right exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair, expression, pose, hands, and proportions" protects both. The model does not know your names, and "her" or "him" is ambiguous with two people in frame.

Forbid blending between you. Two faces in one regenerated frame can drift toward each other: a shared brow shape, a hairline that moves, a skin tone that meets in the middle. "No feature blending between us" and "keep our height difference and the gap between us" close that door.

Treat the hands as the subject. Joined hands, an arm around a shoulder, a ring hand: these make it a couple photo, and hands are where edits improvise. Name them in the keep list and add "no extra fingers."

Light both faces from one side. State the light direction once and say it reaches both of you with the same shadow softness. A relight that is right on one face and wrong on the other reads as a paste.

Composites need four matches. When two photos become one frame, ask ChatGPT to match scale, eye line, light direction, and shadow softness, then add a contact shadow wherever you touch.

Block the quiet edits with negatives. "No skin smoothing, no face reshaping, no teeth whitening, no age change, no body change" is negative prompting applied to two people at once, and it stops the edits you never asked for.

Every prompt here follows the shape in the hub, 40 ChatGPT photo editing prompts: the change, the region, the keep list, and the light. For a prompt built around your own photo, describe the scene and both keep lists to the image prompt generator.

35

ChatGPT couple photo prompts across 6 categories: keep-both-faces edits, aesthetic looks, pre-wedding and engagement, anniversaries and milestones, two-photo composites, and fun and seasonal

How to edit a couple photo in ChatGPT:

1

Pick a photo where both faces are sharp and uncovered, and the hands show if they matter.

2

Agree on the edit together. Both people read the prompt before it is sent, and either can veto the result.

3

Upload in a new chat and say who is on the left and who is on the right in the first line.

4

Paste the keep list for both, then the change: the scene, the light direction, and the crop.

5

For a composite, upload both photos and ask for the four matches: scale, eye line, light direction, and shadow softness.

6

Check both faces at 100%, then at phone size. If one face drifted, rerun on the original with a tighter keep list.

Warning

Edit couple photos only when both people have agreed to the edit and have seen the result before it is shared. Never edit photos of an ex-partner, never composite yourself with someone who has not agreed to appear with you, and never present a composite as a photo of a relationship that did not happen. Pre-wedding photos often reveal a venue and timing, so check what the background shows before posting, and delete the chat when you are done.

Keep-Both-Faces Edits (1–6)

These are corrections: nothing about either of you changes except the one thing each prompt names. Run these ChatGPT couple photo prompts first, because a clean, level, evenly exposed photo gives every later edit a better start. Brush with the Select tool when the edge is clean; describe when the fix touches the whole frame.

1. Remove Background Clutter

code
Remove the [parked cars and trash bins] behind us and continue the
[hedge and pavement] to fill the space, matching perspective,
texture, and grain. Keep the person on the left and the person on
the right exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone,
hair edges, expression, pose, joined hands, and outfits. Do not
move us closer together or change the light on either face. No
blur patch, no repeated texture.

What you'll get: Two people in a clean frame, standing where they stood.

Variation: Brush each object with the Select tool and keep only the fill line.

2. Even the Exposure on Both Faces

code
The person on the left is in shade and the person on the right is
in direct sun. Lift the shadow side by about one stop and pull back
the bright side so both faces read at the same brightness. Do not
change either skin tone: equal exposure, not equal color. Keep the
person on the left and the person on the right exactly as they
are: face shape, features, hair, expression, pose, hands, and
framing. No smoothing, no added cast on either face.

What you'll get: Two faces at the same brightness, each still its own color.

Variation: Add "keep the sunlit rim on the hair of the person on the right."

3. Remove a Photobomber

code
Remove the [stranger walking past behind the person on the right]
and fill the gap with the same [stone wall and path] behind us,
matching perspective, texture, and grain. Keep the person on the
left and the person on the right exactly as they are: face shape,
features, skin tone, hair, expression, pose, hands, and outfits.
Do not shift either of us toward the gap. No blur patch, no
repeated texture.

What you'll get: Just the two of you, the background continuing behind you.

Variation: Brush the stranger with the Select tool so neither face is regenerated.

4. Straighten and Crop to 4:5

code
Straighten this photo so the [horizon / doorway] is level, then
crop to 4:5 with both heads fully in frame and our eyes in the
upper third. Do not stretch, warp, or regenerate anything inside
the frame. Keep the person on the left and the person on the right
exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair,
expression, pose, hands, and the space between us. Fill empty
corners with matching background only.

What you'll get: A level feed crop with both of you composed correctly.

Variation: Ask for 1:1 for a shared profile picture or 9:16 for a Story.

5. Glasses Glare on One Person

code
Remove the reflections on both lenses of the glasses worn by the
person on the [left] so their eyes show clearly. Keep the frame
shape, color, and position, and their eye color, eye shape, and
gaze. Match the light on the rest of their face. Keep the person
on the left and the person on the right exactly as they are: face
shape, features, skin tone, hair, expression, pose, and hands. Do
not remove the glasses, do not touch the other person.

What you'll get: Clear lenses on one of you, nothing changed on the other.

Variation: Brush only the two lenses with the Select tool before sending.

6. Fix One Closed Eye From a Second Frame

code
Two photos uploaded. In the first, the person on the [right] is
blinking; in the second, taken seconds later, their eyes are open.
Edit the first so their eyes are open, using the eye shape, color,
and gaze from the second. Match scale, eye line, light direction,
and shadow softness to the first photo. Keep the person on the left
and the person on the right exactly as in the first photo: face
shape, features, skin tone, hair, expression, pose, and hands. No
enlarged eyes, no added catchlights, no smoothing.

What you'll get: The good frame of both of you, the blink fixed from your own shot.

Variation: Brush only the eye area in the first photo before sending.

Aesthetic Looks (7–13)

A ChatGPT couple aesthetic prompt is a lighting and grading brief with two people on the keep list in front of it. Describe the look as ingredients, light direction, palette, and setting, and say the light reaches both of you from the same side. Describe rather than brush; for solo versions of the same looks, see ChatGPT prompts for pictures of yourself.

7. Golden Hour

code
Relight this photo for golden hour: a low warm sun from [camera
left, slightly behind us], a soft warm rim on both of our hair and
shoulders, gentle fill so both faces stay evenly exposed, the same
shadow softness on each. Keep the person on the left and the
person on the right exactly as they are: face shape, features,
skin tone, hair, expression, pose, hands, and framing. No flare
across either face, no orange cast, no smoothing. Same aspect
ratio.

What you'll get: The backlit evening look on both of you, faces still readable.

Variation: Add "a blurred amber field behind us."

8. Soft Film Grain

code
Give this photo a soft film look: fine grain, gentle contrast,
slightly lifted blacks, and a warm cream-and-tan palette. Adjust
color and tone only; the light stays as shot. Keep the person on
the left and the person on the right exactly as they are: face
shape, features, skin tone, hair, expression, pose, hands, and
framing. Both skin tones stay natural under the grade. No light
leaks, no border, no smoothing. Same aspect ratio.

What you'll get: Your photo as a film print, both of you unchanged under the grain.

Variation: Swap the palette for "cool sage, cream, and pale gray."

9. Editorial Black-and-White

code
Convert this photo to editorial black and white: deep blacks,
highlights that hold detail, full midtones, visible skin texture,
each of our skin tones rendered at its own true brightness. Keep
the person on the left and the person on the right exactly as they
are: face shape, features, hair, expression, pose, hands, and
framing. Do not brighten or darken one face to match the other.
No sepia, no selective color, no heavy vignette. Same aspect ratio.

What you'll get: A monochrome where both of you keep your own tonal range.

Variation: Add "a red-filter effect" to darken a sky behind you.

10. Rainy Window

code
Place us beside a rain-streaked window: cool soft daylight from the
window side, droplets on the glass, a blurred gray street beyond.
The window light falls on both of us from the same side as the
existing light. Keep the person on the left and the person on the
right exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair,
expression, pose, and hands. No reflections across either face, no
text. Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: A rainy-day scene whose light agrees with both faces.

Variation: Swap "gray street" for "a green garden, out of focus."

11. Cozy Indoor

code
Give this photo a cozy indoor look: warm lamp light from [camera
left] on both of us, a soft amber glow behind, a sofa and blankets
blurred in the background, palette of brown, cream, and amber.
Keep the person on the left and the person on the right exactly
as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair, expression,
pose, and hands. No orange skin on either of us, no lamp in frame,
no text. Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: A warm, candid-looking frame lit by one believable lamp.

Variation: Add "string lights as soft bokeh behind us."

12. Pastel Minimal

code
Edit this photo into a minimal pastel picture: replace the
background with one flat [SAGE / LAVENDER / POWDER BLUE], soft even
front light on both of us, muted colors on our clothing. Keep the
person on the left and the person on the right exactly as they
are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair edges, expression, pose,
and hands. Clean hair edges on both, no halo, no gradient, no
text. Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: A quiet two-person frame that stands out in a loud feed.

Variation: Ask for "both tops in deeper shades of the background color."

13. Moody Low-Key

code
Turn this photo into a moody low-key portrait: one soft light from
[camera right] that reaches both faces, the far side of each face
in shadow, catchlights in all four eyes, background darkened to
near-black charcoal. Keep the person on the left and the person on
the right exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone,
hair, expression, pose, and hands. No crushed blacks on either
face, no added contrast on skin, no smoothing. Same aspect ratio.

What you'll get: Drama from one light, with both faces still readable.

Variation: Add "a faint warm rim light on both of our hair."

Pre-Wedding and Engagement (14–20)

A pre-wedding photoshoot prompt for ChatGPT moves the two of you into a scene and relights you for it, the heaviest edit here, so the keep list adds hands, the ring, the height difference, and the gap between you. For a matched set across several scenes, save one clean photo of each of you as a reference image first; ChatGPT Images 2.6 can reuse saved references in later chats, which holds both faces from the garden to the rooftop.

14. Garden at Dusk

code
Place us in a formal garden at dusk: clipped hedges and a gravel
path blurred behind us, a sky fading from peach to pale blue, warm
string lights as bokeh in the trees. Soft dusk light from [camera
left] on both of us, a faint warm rim on our hair. Keep the person
on the left and the person on the right exactly as they are: face
shape, features, skin tone, hair, expression, pose, joined hands,
outfits, and height difference. No flowers over either face, no
other people. Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: A garden frame where the dusk light agrees with both faces.

Variation: Change the hedges to "a rose arch directly behind us."

15. Beach Sunset

code
Place us on a quiet beach at sunset: wet sand reflecting the sky,
the sun low and [behind us to the right], a warm rim on both of
our hair and shoulders, soft fill on both faces, sand shadows that
match that sun. Keep the person on the left and the person on the
right exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair,
expression, pose, hands, and outfits. No flare across either face,
no orange cast, no other people. Aspect ratio 3:2.

What you'll get: A sunset frame where the rim light and the sand shadows agree.

Variation: Ask for "the sun just set, cool blue sky, warm glow on the horizon."

16. City Rooftop

code
Place us on a city rooftop at blue hour: a skyline blurred behind
us, warm window lights as bokeh, a low parapet at waist height.
Cool ambient light on both of us from the sky, a warm rim from the
city on the [right], both faces evenly exposed. Keep the person on
the left and the person on the right exactly as they are: face
shape, features, skin tone, hair, expression, pose, hands, and
outfits. No readable signs, no text. Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: A rooftop frame where two light colors sell the scene.

Variation: Add "wet rooftop reflecting the lights" for a rain-washed version.

17. Heritage Building

code
Place us in front of a heritage building: carved stone arches and
tall wooden doors behind us, slightly out of focus, the doorway
about twice our height. Warm late-afternoon sun from [camera left]
raking across the stone and reaching both of us from the same
side. Keep the person on the left and the person on the right
exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair,
expression, pose, hands, and outfits. No other people, no readable
inscriptions. Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: A heritage backdrop at believable scale, lit by the same sun as you.

Variation: Swap the arches for "a long colonnade with repeating pillars."

18. Shared Umbrella in Rain

code
Add a large [black] umbrella held by the person on the [right],
sheltering both of us, light rain falling, wet pavement reflecting
a soft gray sky. Fit the handle into their existing hand at the
correct angle. Soft overcast light from above on both faces,
slightly darker under the canopy. Keep the person on the left and
the person on the right exactly as they are: face shape, features,
skin tone, hair, expression, pose, other hand, and outfits. No
rain on our faces, no extra fingers.

What you'll get: One umbrella over both of you, the hand that holds it still your own.

Variation: Ask for "a clear umbrella so both faces stay fully lit."

19. Ring Close-Up With Both Hands

code
Crop this photo to a close-up of our joined hands and the ring on
the [left] hand of the person on the [right], and sharpen gently
so the ring is in focus. Do not regenerate the ring: keep its band,
stone shape, size, and position as photographed. Keep both hands,
the person on the left's and the person on the right's, exactly as
they are: finger count, finger length, nails, skin tone, and grip.
Keep the existing light direction and shadow softness. No added
sparkle, no skin smoothing.

What you'll get: A ring detail from your own photo, with the hands still yours.

Variation: Ask for "a 1:1 crop with the ring on the lower-right third."

20. Outfit Coordination That Keeps Both Faces

code
Change our outfits to a coordinated pair: the person on the left
in [OUTFIT, COLOR, AND FABRIC], the person on the right in [OUTFIT,
COLOR, AND FABRIC]. Match the existing light so the fabric shows
real folds, seams, and shadows. Keep the person on the left and
the person on the right exactly as they are: face shape, features,
skin tone, hair, hairline, expression, pose, hands, and body
shape. Background as shot. No logos, no added jewelry.

What you'll get: Two coordinated outfits lit by your photo's light, both faces untouched.

Variation: Ask for "the same palette in different garments" instead of matching pieces.

Anniversary and Milestones (21–25)

A ChatGPT anniversary photo prompt usually involves more than one photo: the first one you took together, a recent one, or a stack from a trip. Nothing inside the source photos gets retouched; the edit lives in the framing, the layout, and the readable text. If the first photo is a faded print, repair it with the ChatGPT old photo restoration prompts first.

21. Recreate the First Photo

code
Two photos uploaded: the first is our first photo together, the
second is a recent photo of us. Recreate the first photo's framing,
pose, setting, and light using the two of us from the second.
Match scale, eye line, light direction, and shadow softness to the
first photo. Keep the person on the left and the person on the
right exactly as in the second photo: face shape, features, skin
tone, hair, and proportions, at our current age. No age change in
either direction, no feature blending.

What you'll get: The old moment restaged with the two of you as you are now.

Variation: Ask for "the two frames side by side, old left, new right, same size."

22. Then-and-Now Side by Side

code
Two photos uploaded: the first from [YEAR], the second from now.
Place them side by side in one 2:1 frame with a thin white divider,
each scaled to the same height and aligned at the eye line, one
color grade across both. Do not edit anything inside either photo:
the person on the left and the person on the right stay exactly as
shot in each. Add the labels "[YEAR]" and "[YEAR]" in small white
sans-serif in the lower corners, spelled exactly. No other text,
no retouching. Output 2K.

What you'll get: A matched diptych with both photos left alone inside their frames.

Variation: Ask for "a 4:5 stacked version, old on top" for the feed.

23. Anniversary Card With Readable Text

code
Turn this photo into an anniversary card: keep the photo as the
full background, add a soft dark gradient across the bottom
quarter, and place "HAPPY [10TH] ANNIVERSARY" on one line with
"[NAME] AND [NAME], SINCE [YEAR]" below it in clean white serif,
centered, spelled exactly as written. Keep the person on the left
and the person on the right exactly as they are: face shape,
features, skin tone, hair, expression, pose, and hands. Text must
not overlap either face. No extra words, no clip art. Output 5:7.

What you'll get: A printable card with the text spelled correctly and both faces untouched.

Variation: Move the text to a white band below the photo for a cleaner print.

24. Candlelit Dinner Scene

code
Place us at a candlelit dinner table: two candles at the center,
white tablecloth, two glasses, a dim restaurant blurred behind us
with warm bokeh. The candles are the key light, warm and low,
lighting both faces softly from the front with the same shadow
softness. Keep the person on the left and the person on the right
exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair,
expression, pose, hands, and outfits. No orange cast on either
face, no other diners. Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: A dinner scene where the candles light both of you the same way.

Variation: Add "a window behind us with city lights, out of focus."

25. Travel Recap Collage

code
[SIX] photos uploaded from our trip to [PLACE]. Arrange them in a
4:5 grid collage: one large photo of the two of us at the top, the
rest in equal tiles below, thin white gutters, one warm grade
across all tiles. Do not edit, crop into, or retouch anyone inside
the photos; the person on the left and the person on the right
stay exactly as shot in every tile. Add a small label "[PLACE],
[YEAR]" in white sans-serif in the lower-right tile, spelled
exactly. No other text, no stickers. Output 2K.

What you'll get: A tidy recap grid with the photos unchanged inside their tiles.

Variation: Ask for "a 3:1 banner strip of five tiles" for a cover image.

Long-Distance and Two-Photo Composites (26–30)

These prompts put two people from two separate photos into one frame, the edit ChatGPT finds hardest, because scale, eye line, light, and shadow were set by different cameras in different rooms. Every prompt here asks for the same four matches plus a contact shadow wherever you touch. Pick source photos taken at a similar distance in similar light.

26. Combine Two Photos Into One Frame

code
Two photos uploaded: the person on the left is in the first, the
person on the right is in the second. Combine us into one frame
side by side against [a plain warm gray wall], shoulders nearly
touching. Match scale, eye line, light direction, and shadow
softness so we look photographed together, with a soft contact
shadow between us. The person on the left is [SHORTER / TALLER] by
about [AMOUNT]. Keep the person on the left and the person on the
right exactly as in their own photos: face shape, features, skin
tone, hair, expression, pose, and hands. No feature blending, no
body changes. Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: One believable photo of two people who were never in the same room.

Variation: Add "the right person's arm around the left person's shoulder" if both poses allow it.

27. Same Park Bench

code
Two photos uploaded, one of each of us. Seat us together on one
wooden park bench under soft overcast light, the person on the
left at the left end, the person on the right beside them, a
blurred green park behind. Match scale, eye line, light direction,
and shadow softness, with contact shadows on the bench seat. Keep
the person on the left and the person on the right exactly as in
their own photos: face shape, features, skin tone, hair,
expression, hands, and outfits. Change only leg position to
seated, not body shape. No feature blending. Aspect ratio 3:2.

What you'll get: Both of you on one bench, lit by one sky.

Variation: Replace the park with "a quiet boardwalk bench at late afternoon."

28. Split-Screen Video-Call Frame

code
Two photos uploaded, one of each of us. Build a 16:9 split-screen
video-call frame: the person on the left in the left half, the
person on the right in the right half, a thin dark divider, each
with their own room blurred behind. Match scale, eye line, light
direction, and shadow softness across both halves so our heads are
the same size and both faces read at the same brightness. Keep the
person on the left and the person on the right exactly as in their
own photos: face shape, features, skin tone, hair, expression, and
pose. No interface icons, no text, no timestamps.

What you'll get: A clean two-up frame that reads as one call.

Variation: Ask for "a 1:1 version with the two halves stacked."

29. Two Instant-Film Prints on a Table

code
Two photos uploaded, one of each of us. Render them as two
instant-film prints lying on a wooden table, slightly overlapping,
soft window light from the [left], a gentle shadow under each
print. Inside the prints, keep the person on the left and the
person on the right exactly as shot: face shape, features, skin
tone, hair, expression, and pose, only cropped square. Match
scale, eye line, light direction, and shadow softness between the
two prints so they read as one camera. No handwriting, no tape.
Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: Two prints of two people, laid on one table in one light.

Variation: Add "a short handwritten caption on each border reading [TEXT]," spelled exactly.

30. Matching Outfits From Two Photos

code
Two photos uploaded, one of each of us. Combine us into one frame
standing together against [a plain pale wall], and dress us in a
coordinated pair: the person on the left in [OUTFIT, COLOR, AND
FABRIC], the person on the right in [OUTFIT, COLOR, AND FABRIC].
Match scale, eye line, light direction, and shadow softness so we
look photographed together, the same light on both outfits. Keep
the person on the left and the person on the right exactly as in
their own photos: face shape, features, skin tone, hair, hairline,
expression, hands, and body shape. No logos, no feature blending.
Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: A matched-outfit photo of two people from two cities.

Variation: Ask for "the same color in two different garments" to avoid twin outfits.

Fun and Seasonal (31–35)

These are the ChatGPT couple photo prompts people share, which makes them the ones most likely to drift, because a cartoon restyle or a poster layout gives the model permission to redraw. Keep both identities on the list even when the medium changes, and when a pet joins from a third photo, its markings go on the list too. For festive portraits and cards, see the ChatGPT Christmas photo prompts; ChatGPT Images 2.6 can also turn a finished card into a short animated GIF, though every prompt here produces a still.

31. Matching Cartoon Versions

code
Restyle this photo of the two of us as a flat 2D cartoon: bold
clean outlines, simple cel shading, a limited palette of [SIX]
colors, a soft [COLOR] gradient background. Keep both of us
recognizable: the person on the left's face shape, skin tone, hair
color and length, glasses, and expression, and the same for the
person on the right. Keep our pose, the gap between us, our height
difference, and our adult ages and proportions. No text, no extra
characters, no feature blending. Aspect ratio 1:1.

What you'll get: A matched cartoon pair that still reads as the two of you.

Variation: Swap "flat 2D cartoon" for "a soft painterly illustration with brush texture."

32. Winter Holiday Card

code
Turn this photo into a winter holiday card: soft falling snow in
the background only, warm string lights as bokeh behind us, a cool
blue dusk grade that leaves both faces warm. Add "HAPPY HOLIDAYS
FROM [NAME] AND [NAME]" in clean white serif across the bottom,
spelled exactly as written, not overlapping either face. Keep the
person on the left and the person on the right exactly as they
are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair, expression, pose,
hands, and outfits. No snow on our faces, no extra words. Output
7:5 landscape, 2K.

What you'll get: A printable card with readable text and both faces untouched.

Variation: Add "a knitted [red] hat on each of us, fitted to our heads, hairlines unchanged."

33. Autumn Walk

code
Place us on a tree-lined path in autumn: orange and yellow leaves
on the branches and the ground, soft overcast light from above on
both faces, a faint warm grade. Match the perspective so the path
recedes behind us and our feet sit on the ground with contact
shadows. Keep the person on the left and the person on the right
exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair,
expression, pose, joined hands, and outfits. No leaves over either
face, no other people. Aspect ratio 4:5.

What you'll get: A path-in-autumn frame where your feet are on the ground.

Variation: Ask for "a few leaves falling, out of focus, in the foreground."

34. Pet Included From a Third Photo

code
Three photos uploaded: the first is the two of us, the second and
third are our [dog]. Add the [dog] to the first photo, sitting on
the ground between us, just in front of our feet. Match scale, eye
line, light direction, and shadow softness to the first photo,
with a contact shadow under the [dog]. Keep the [dog] exactly as in
its photos: coat pattern, markings, eye color, ear shape, tail, and
collar. Keep the person on the left and the person on the right
exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair,
expression, pose, and hands. No leash, no extra paws.

What you'll get: The three of you in one frame, with your pet's real markings.

Variation: Ask for "the [cat] in the arms of the person on the left" only if their hands are free.

35. Movie-Style Poster With Readable Names

code
Turn this photo into a movie-style poster: crop to 2:3, deepen the
contrast, add a soft dark gradient at the bottom, and place the
title "[TITLE]" in large white serif across the lower third, the
names "[NAME] [NAME]" above it in small spaced capitals, and a
one-line tagline "[TAGLINE]" beneath, all spelled exactly as
written. Keep the person on the left and the person on the right
exactly as they are: face shape, features, skin tone, hair,
expression, pose, and hands. No studio logos, no ratings badges,
no fake credits block, no extra words.

What you'll get: A poster with your names spelled right and your faces left alone.

Variation: Ask for "a tiny credits block at the bottom reading [CREDITS TEXT]."

Tips for Better Results With ChatGPT Couple Photo Prompts

Name positions in the first line, every time. ChatGPT does not know your names, and "she" or "he" is ambiguous with both of you in frame. In a tight crop at the same height, add a marker such as "the person in the blue shirt."

Save both of you as reference images for a set. ChatGPT Images 2.6 can save a reference image of a person under a name you choose, and you call it back in a later chat by typing @ and that name in the prompt. Save one clean, front-lit photo of each of you, then ask for each scene against both references.

Check the hands before the faces. Hands carry the story in a couple photo, and they drift first. Count fingers on every joined hand, look at the ring, and check where an arm meets a shoulder.

Change one variable per follow-up. If the first result is close, ask for one change: the light direction, the grade, the gap between you. Rewriting the whole prompt invites new drift on both faces.

Pick the tool for the job. For a strict local edit where nothing else may move, such as removing one object from behind one of you, Gemini's Nano Banana is the stronger alternative. ChatGPT is stronger at relighting both of you, full restyles, and anything with readable text.

Tip

Look at the result together, at 100% and then at phone size, next to the original. If either of you would hesitate to post it, the edit went too far. Rerun with a longer keep list and a smaller change.
