TL;DR

Thirty-five copy-paste ChatGPT anime prompts that redraw your own uploaded photo in ChatGPT Images 2.6 as anime and cartoon styles while keeping your face shape, hair, glasses, skin tone, and adult age. Six categories: anime versions of yourself from clean cel shading to a manga panel, anime scenes such as a rainy neon street, cartoon and animated-film looks from 3D render to pixel sprite, couples, friends, and pets, original characters with reference images, and formats for wallpapers, stickers, banners, and posters. Every style is described by line weight, shading, palette, and era, never by a studio or show name.

ChatGPT anime prompts are instructions you attach to an uploaded photo that tell ChatGPT Images 2.6 to redraw you in an anime or cartoon style while keeping what makes you recognizable: face shape, hair color and length, glasses, skin tone, and your adult age. The style is described in visual terms, never by name. Here are 35 you can paste, from a clean cel-shaded portrait to a print poster.

What Makes ChatGPT Anime Prompts Work

An anime restyle changes every pixel, so nothing survives unless the prompt names it. ChatGPT Images 2.6 regenerates the whole frame from your photo plus your instruction, and a restyle has no region for the Select tool anyway, so the keep list does all the work.

Describe the style, never the name. ChatGPT may decline a prompt that names a studio, a show, or an artist, and one studio spans decades of looks anyway. Describe what you can see: line weight, shading style (flat cel, two-tone, soft painterly), palette, eye style, and era.

Lock the identity cues before the style. Anime removes skin texture and small asymmetries by design, so likeness moves to hair color and length, the parting, glasses frame shape, skin tone, face shape, and marks such as a mole or freckles. Name each one.

Say "keep my adult age and proportions." Anime styles default to large eyes, small noses, and smooth skin, which reads as younger. Every prompt below says so and forbids a childlike face; leave it out and a 35-year-old comes back as a teenager.

Match the light, then set the scene. A restyled face still needs a light direction. Name where the light falls in your photo and ask the drawing to agree, then add the scene, or it floats behind you like a backdrop.

Set the format up front. 1:1 for an icon, 9:16 for a wallpaper, 3:1 for a banner, 2K for a print. ChatGPT outputs up to 2K at ratios from 3:1 to 1:3, so ask once instead of cropping later.

Forbid the extras. Anime prompts attract additions: sparkles, a sword, a school uniform, a second character. "No text, no extra characters, no costume I did not ask for, no childlike features" is negative prompting for restyles, and it belongs in every prompt here.

Every prompt follows the hub's shape, 40 ChatGPT photo editing prompts: the change, the keep list, the light, and the output. For a style you cannot put into words yet, describe it to the image prompt generator and paste the result into the style line.

35

ChatGPT anime prompts across 6 categories: anime versions of yourself, scenes and backgrounds, cartoon and animated-film styles, couples and pets, original characters, and formats

How to turn a photo into anime in ChatGPT:

1

Pick the source photo. Sharp, front-lit, face uncovered, hair and glasses as you want them drawn.

2

Upload it in a new chat and write the identity keep list first: face shape, hair color and length, glasses, skin tone, marks, adult age and proportions.

3

Describe the style as visuals: line weight, shading, palette, eye style, era. No studio, show, or artist names.

4

Add the light and the scene, then the format: 1:1, 9:16, 3:1, and 2K if you plan to print.

5

Check at thumbnail size. Hair, glasses, face shape, and age should read as you; if not, add the missing cue and rerun on the original.

6

Save the result as a reference image when the likeness is right, so later chats can reuse the same character.

Warning

Describing a style is allowed; imitating one named artist is a different thing, so ask for line weight, shading, and palette instead. Only turn other people into anime with their consent, and do not post anime versions of friends, classmates, or coworkers as a surprise. Schools and workplaces often have rules about edited photos on official profiles, so check before swapping a staff or student picture for a drawing, and delete the chat when you are done.

Anime Versions of Yourself (1–8)

These eight ChatGPT anime prompts cover the looks people ask for first, from a clean portrait to a manga panel and an icon. Each opens with the same identity keep list and the adult-age line, then changes only the style description.

1. Clean Cel-Shaded Portrait

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a clean cel-shaded anime portrait:
thin dark-brown line art, flat colors with one hard-edged shadow
tone, large eyes with a single catchlight. Keep my face shape,
[HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES / NO GLASSES], skin tone, [MOLE
/ FRECKLES / BEARD], expression, pose, and framing. Keep my adult
age and proportions; no childlike face. Light from the [LEFT] as
in the photo. Plain [COLOR] background. No text, no extra
characters. 4:5.

What you'll get: A crisp anime portrait that reads as you.

Variation: Ask for "two shadow tones and a soft rim light."

2. Soft Painterly Film Look

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a soft painterly anime still: thin
lines, gentle gradient shading on skin and hair, a hand-painted
background with detailed clouds and foliage, warm natural palette.
Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone,
[DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, and framing. Keep my
adult age and proportions; no childlike face. Soft warm light from
the [RIGHT] matching the photo. No text, no extra characters, no
sparkles. 3:2.

What you'll get: A painted anime frame with your real hair and glasses.

Variation: Ask for "a slight paper grain over the whole image."

3. 90s Cel Look With Thick Lines

code
Redraw my uploaded photo in a 1990s cel-animation look: thick
black outlines, flat colors with hard-edged shadows, angular eyes,
bright hair highlight bands, a slightly muted palette, faint film
grain. Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES],
skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, and framing.
Keep my adult age and proportions; no childlike face. Light from
the [LEFT] as in the photo. Plain [COLOR] gradient background. No
text, no extra characters. 4:3.

What you'll get: A retro frame that looks paused on a tube TV.

Variation: Add "scan lines and slight color bleed."

4. Action Pose With Speed Lines

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a dynamic action anime frame: radial
speed lines converging behind me, hard high-contrast shadows,
wind lifting my hair, clean bold lines, saturated palette. Keep my
pose as in the photo; the motion is in the background only. Keep
my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone,
[DISTINGUISHING MARK], and clothing. Keep my adult age and
proportions; no childlike face, no body changes. Strong light from
[ABOVE LEFT]. No weapons, no text, no extra characters. 16:9.

What you'll get: An action still with you as shot.

Variation: Swap speed lines for "an impact burst behind me."

5. Slice-of-Life Cafe Scene

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a slice-of-life anime scene: I am at
a window table in a small cafe, warm afternoon light from the
window on the [LEFT], a cup, a plant, and wooden shelves behind
me, soft cel shading, thin lines, calm palette. Keep my face
shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone,
[DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, and clothing. Keep my
adult age and proportions; no childlike face. No readable signs,
no text, no other people. 4:5.

What you'll get: A quiet scene lit by the window your photo already had.

Variation: Swap the cafe for "a late-night convenience store aisle."

6. Chibi Version

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a chibi character: the compact chibi
body about two and a half heads tall is the one stylized change,
with large eyes, a tiny nose, thick clean outlines, and flat
colors. Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES],
skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, and clothing colors.
Keep my adult age and proportions in the face so
I read as a grown adult drawn small, never as a child. Even soft
light. Plain white background. No text, no props. 1:1.

What you'll get: A chibi mascot that is clearly an adult you.

Variation: Add "a small [WORK OBJECT] in one hand."

7. Black-and-White Manga Panel

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a single black-and-white manga panel:
clean ink lines, screentone dot shading on skin and clothing,
crosshatching in the shadows, pure white highlights, a thin black
panel border, and one empty speech bubble. Keep my face shape,
[HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH] at its true darkness, [GLASSES],
[DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, and framing; render my
skin at its true brightness. Keep my adult age and proportions;
no childlike face. Light from the [RIGHT] as in the photo. No
color, no text in the bubble, no extra characters. 3:4.

What you'll get: A manga panel with your likeness in ink and tone.

Variation: Put "[SHORT TEXT]" in the bubble, spelled exactly.

8. Square Anime Icon

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a square anime profile icon: head and
shoulders filling about 70% of the frame, clean thin lines, flat
cel shading, a flat [COLOR] background, eyes in the upper third,
details simplified to read at 128 pixels. Keep my face shape,
[HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING
MARK], and expression. Keep my adult age and proportions; no
childlike face. Soft front light. No text, no border. 1:1, 2K.

What you'll get: An icon that reads as you at avatar size.

Variation: Ask for "a circular fade to transparent, PNG."

Scenes and Backgrounds (9–14)

Scenes sell the anime look, and they are where ChatGPT anime prompts most often forget the light, so each prompt here names the light its setting produces and asks it to fall on the same side of your face as in the photo.

9. Rainy Neon Street

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as an anime scene on a rainy city street
at night: wet asphalt reflecting pink and cyan neon signs with no
readable text, a clear umbrella in my hand, fine rain streaks.
Neon falls on the [LEFT] side of my face, matching the photo.
Clean lines, soft cel shading, cool palette. Keep my face shape,
[HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING
MARK], expression, pose, and clothing. Keep my adult age and
proportions; no childlike face. No extra characters, no text. 9:16.

What you'll get: A night street where the neon lights your face.

Variation: Drop the umbrella and add "a glass bus shelter beside me."

10. Cherry Blossom Path

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as an anime scene on a tree-lined path
with pale pink blossoms overhead and petals drifting down, soft
diffused daylight, a painterly background, thin lines, soft cel
shading, a pastel palette with my clothing colors kept. Light
from [ABOVE RIGHT] matching the photo. Keep my face shape, [HAIR
COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK],
expression, pose, and framing. Keep my adult age and proportions;
no childlike face. No petals over my face, no text, no other
people. 4:5.

What you'll get: The blossom path with your face uncovered.

Variation: Swap the blossoms for "yellow ginkgo leaves."

11. Summer Festival at Night

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as an anime night-festival scene: rows of
warm orange paper lanterns, blurred food stalls behind me, a dark
blue sky, small fireworks far off. Lantern light warms the [LEFT]
side of my face, matching the photo. Keep my clothing, or change
it to [A LIGHT COTTON ROBE WITH A WIDE SASH]. Keep my face shape,
[HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING
MARK], expression, and pose. Keep my adult age and proportions;
no childlike face. No readable signs, no text, no crowd faces. 4:5.

What you'll get: A lantern-lit festival whose light agrees with your photo.

Variation: Add "a paper fan in one hand" if your hands are visible.

12. Train Window

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as an anime scene: I am seated by a train
window with green fields and a far mountain passing outside, soft
daylight from the window on the [RIGHT], a faint reflection of me
on the glass, worn blue seats, thin lines, a painterly background.
Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone,
[DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, and clothing. Keep my
adult age and proportions; no childlike face. No other passengers,
no text. 16:9.

What you'll get: A traveling frame with window light that matches your face.

Variation: Make it night: "city lights streaking past, my reflection stronger."

13. Rooftop Sunset

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as an anime scene on a city rooftop at
sunset: a chain-link fence, a water tank, an orange-to-violet sky,
the low sun behind me at [LEFT] giving a warm rim on my hair and
shoulders, my face evenly lit by sky fill. Clean lines, soft cel
shading. Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES],
skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, and clothing.
Keep my adult age and proportions; no childlike face. No lens
flare over my face, no text. 16:9.

What you'll get: A backlit rooftop frame with your face still readable.

Variation: Swap sunset for "blue hour with the first streetlights on."

14. Cozy Bedroom

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a cozy anime bedroom scene: a desk
lamp as the main warm light from the [LEFT], string lights, a
bookshelf, a plant, posters with no readable text, and a window
showing a dark blue night. Soft cel shading, thin lines, warm
palette. Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES],
skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, and clothing.
Keep my adult age and proportions; no childlike face. No text, no
other people, no pets unless they are in the photo. 4:5.

What you'll get: A warm indoor frame lit by one believable lamp.

Variation: Ask for "rain on the window and a mug on the desk."

Cartoon and Animated-Film Styles (15–21)

A ChatGPT cartoon prompt follows the same rule as an anime one: describe the render, never the studio. These seven run from a 3D animated-film character to a pixel sprite, each pinned to line, shading, texture, and palette; only the style line changes.

15. 3D Animated-Film Character

code
Restyle my uploaded photo as a 3D animated-film character render:
soft subsurface skin, large expressive eyes, simplified hair in
clumps, slightly rounded features, a soft key light from the
[UPPER LEFT] as in the photo, a soft [COLOR] gradient background.
Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone,
[DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, framing, and clothing
colors. Keep my adult age and proportions; no childlike face. No
text, no extra characters. 1:1.

What you'll get: A stylized 3D character that still looks like you.

Variation: Ask for "a matte clay-like skin finish."

16. Flat 2D Cartoon

code
Restyle my uploaded photo as a flat 2D vector cartoon: bold
uniform black outlines, flat fills with no gradients, a limited
palette of [FIVE COLORS], simplified shapes, one flat shadow tone
from the [LEFT] as in the photo. Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR
AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK],
expression, pose, and framing. Keep my adult age and proportions;
no childlike face. Plain [COLOR] background. No text, no texture.
1:1.

What you'll get: A vector-style portrait that scales to any size.

Variation: Ask for "no outlines, shapes separated by color only."

17. Saturday-Morning Cartoon

code
Restyle my uploaded photo as a 1980s Saturday-morning TV cartoon
frame: thick black outlines, flat primary colors, simple rounded
shapes, slight cel misregistration where color edges miss the
lines, a painted flat background, faint tape grain. Keep my face
shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone,
[DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, and clothing colors. Keep
my adult age and proportions; no childlike face. Flat even light.
No text, no extra characters. 4:3.

What you'll get: A frame that looks taped off a weekend broadcast.

Variation: Add "a title-card border, no text."

18. Cel-Shaded Comic

code
Restyle my uploaded photo as a cel-shaded comic panel: heavy ink
outlines, bold hard-edged shadows, halftone dots in the midtones,
a saturated comic palette, a thin panel border. Keep my face
shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone,
[DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression, pose, and clothing. Keep my
adult age and proportions; no childlike face, no muscle or body
changes. Hard light from [ABOVE RIGHT] matching the photo. No
speech bubbles, no text, no costume. 3:4.

What you'll get: A comic-panel you with no costume attached.

Variation: Ask for "a two-color duotone of [COLOR] and black."

19. Paper Cut-Out

code
Restyle my uploaded photo as a layered paper cut-out illustration:
each shape cut from flat colored card with visible paper texture,
soft drop shadows between layers, slightly imperfect scissor
edges, a limited [FIVE COLOR] palette. Keep my face shape, [HAIR
COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK],
expression, pose, and framing. Keep my adult age and proportions;
no childlike face. Soft light from [ABOVE] casting the layer
shadows downward. No text. 1:1.

What you'll get: A cut-paper portrait with real-looking depth.

Variation: Ask for "torn edges instead of cut edges."

20. Claymation

code
Restyle my uploaded photo as a stop-motion clay figure: a matte
modeling-clay surface with faint fingerprints, slightly uneven
shapes, bead-like eyes, clay hair in simple shapes, on a miniature
set with shallow depth of field and small set lights from the
[LEFT] as in the photo. Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND
LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK], expression,
pose, and clothing colors. Keep my adult age and proportions; no
childlike face. No text, no extra figures. 4:5.

What you'll get: A clay version of you shot on a miniature set.

Variation: Swap clay for "a painted wooden figure."

21. Pixel Sprite

code
Restyle my uploaded photo as a 16-bit pixel art character sprite:
crisp square pixels with no anti-aliasing, a limited palette of
about 16 colors, one-pixel dark outlines, simple dithering in the
shadows, standing full body facing the camera on a transparent
background. Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH],
[GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK], and clothing colors.
Keep my adult age and proportions in a head-to-body ratio of about
one to three; no childlike face. Export as PNG, 1:1, 2K.

What you'll get: A game-ready sprite of you with clean pixels.

Variation: Ask for "a four-frame walk cycle side by side."

Couples, Friends, and Pets (22–26)

Every person in the frame goes on the keep list by position, and everyone has agreed to the edit. Pets get their own list: coat pattern, markings, eye color, ear shape, and collar. Children stay the age they are, and the chat is deleted afterward. For two real faces kept as a photo, see ChatGPT couple photo prompts; for pets alone, ChatGPT pet photo prompts covers portraits and posters.

22. Two People

code
Redraw my uploaded photo of two people as a clean cel-shaded
anime scene, same pose and framing. Person on the LEFT: keep
their face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone,
and [DISTINGUISHING MARK]. Person on the RIGHT: keep their face
shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, and
[DISTINGUISHING MARK]. Keep both people's adult age and
proportions and their relative heights; no childlike faces. Light
from the [LEFT] as in the photo. No extra characters, no text. 4:5.

What you'll get: Two recognizable anime versions at the right heights.

Variation: Add a scene line from prompts 9 to 14 after the keep lists.

23. Friend Group

code
Redraw my uploaded group photo of [NUMBER] friends as an anime
scene, same arrangement and framing. From left to right: [NAME 1:
HAIR, GLASSES, MARK], [NAME 2: HAIR, GLASSES, MARK], [NAME 3:
HAIR, GLASSES, MARK]. Keep each person's face shape, skin tone,
expression, relative height, and clothing colors. Keep everyone's
adult age and proportions; no childlike faces, no face blending.
Clean cel shading, light from [ABOVE LEFT] matching the photo. No
added people, no text. 16:9.

What you'll get: A group frame where each friend is still identifiable.

Variation: Ask for "a flat [COLOR] background" if the location is cluttered.

24. You and Your Pet

code
Redraw my uploaded photo of me and my [DOG / CAT] as a soft
painterly anime scene, same pose and framing. Keep my face shape,
[HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, and
[DISTINGUISHING MARK]; keep my adult age and proportions, no
childlike face. Keep my pet's coat pattern, [MARKINGS], eye color,
ear shape, size relative to me, and [COLLAR COLOR]. Warm light
from the [RIGHT] as in the photo. No extra animals, no text, no
accessories added to the pet. 4:5.

What you'll get: You and your actual pet, both recognizable in paint.

Variation: Place both of you in the cozy bedroom from prompt 14.

25. Family of Four

code
Redraw my uploaded family photo of four as a clean cel-shaded
anime illustration, same arrangement and framing. From left to
right: [PERSON 1: HAIR, GLASSES, MARK], [PERSON 2], [PERSON 3],
[PERSON 4]. Keep each person's face shape, skin tone, expression,
and clothing colors, and keep everyone at their actual age: the
adults keep their adult age and proportions, and the children stay
the ages and heights they are. No face blending, no added people.
Soft even front light. Plain [COLOR] background. No text. 3:2.

What you'll get: A family illustration where each person reads as themselves.

Variation: Ask for "a thin white border and a 5x7 inch print ratio."

26. Pet as a Companion Character

code
Using my uploaded photo of my [DOG / CAT], design an anime
companion character of my pet: slightly larger eyes, simplified
fur in clean shapes, a friendly expression, thin lines, soft cel
shading. Keep my pet's coat pattern, [MARKINGS], eye color, ear
shape, tail, body shape, and [COLLAR]. Draw it sitting on a plain
[COLOR] background with a soft shadow, light from the [LEFT]. No
clothing on the pet, no text, no extra animals. 1:1, 2K.

What you'll get: A mascot version of your pet that keeps its markings.

Variation: Ask for "three poses: sitting, walking, sleeping."

Original Characters (27–31)

These five generate instead of edit, so the keep list becomes the character's own spec. Repeat it in every follow-up, and once the design is right, save it as a reference image so ChatGPT Images 2.6 can reuse the character in later chats. For generation prompts beyond characters, see 50 ChatGPT image prompts.

27. Design a Character From a Description

code
Design an original anime character: an adult in their [AGE RANGE]
with [HAIR COLOR, LENGTH, AND STYLE], [EYE COLOR] eyes, [SKIN
TONE], [BUILD DESCRIBED PLAINLY], wearing [OUTFIT DESCRIBED BY
GARMENTS AND COLORS], and [ONE DISTINGUISHING MARK OR ACCESSORY].
Clean cel shading, thin dark lines, a calm expression, standing in
three-quarter view on a plain gray background, soft light from the
[LEFT]. Adult proportions, about seven heads tall. No weapons, no
text, no second character. 3:4, 2K.

What you'll get: A clean character design you can build a set from.

Variation: Add "[PERSONALITY WORD] shown in the posture."

28. Three-View Character Sheet

code
Using my uploaded character image as the reference, create a
three-view character sheet: front, side, and back views of the
same character in a neutral standing pose, lined up at the same
height on one wide sheet. Keep the face, [HAIR], [EYE COLOR], skin
tone, outfit, colors, and [MARK OR ACCESSORY] identical in all
three. Clean lines, flat cel colors, a plain light gray
background, even light. Adult proportions unchanged. No text, no
props, no extra poses. Aspect ratio 16:9, 2K.

What you'll get: A reference sheet that locks the design from every side.

Variation: Add "a fourth, three-quarter view."

29. Expression Sheet

code
Using my uploaded character image as the reference, create an
expression sheet: a grid of six head-and-shoulders portraits of
the same character showing neutral, happy, surprised, annoyed,
sad, and laughing. Keep the face shape, [HAIR], [EYE COLOR], skin
tone, [GLASSES], and [MARK] identical in every cell. Same line
weight, cel shading, and soft front light throughout. Plain white
background, thin cell borders. Adult proportions unchanged. No
text, no labels. Aspect ratio 3:2, 2K.

What you'll get: Six matched expressions with one consistent face.

Variation: Swap two emotions for "determined and embarrassed."

30. Outfit Variants

code
Using my uploaded character image as the reference, draw the same
character in four outfits side by side on one sheet: [CASUAL
OUTFIT], [WORK OUTFIT], [RAIN OUTFIT], and [FORMAL OUTFIT], each
described by garments and colors. Keep the face, [HAIR], [EYE
COLOR], skin tone, [MARK], height, and adult proportions identical
in all four. Same standing pose, same clean cel shading, a plain
light gray background, soft light from the [LEFT]. No logos, no
text, no accessories I did not list. 16:9, 2K.

What you'll get: Four wardrobe options on one body that never changes.

Variation: Add "a color swatch strip under each outfit."

31. Same Character in Three Scenes

code
Using @[CHARACTER NAME], my saved reference image, create three
separate images of the same character: a rainy street at night, a
sunlit library, and a rooftop at sunset. Keep the face, [HAIR],
[EYE COLOR], skin tone, [MARK], outfit, and adult proportions
identical in all three; only the scene, pose, and light change.
Clean cel shading and thin lines throughout; the light in each
scene comes from neon, window, and low sun. No text, no extra
characters. 16:9 for each, 2K.

What you'll get: Three scenes, one character, no drift between them.

Variation: Ask for "the three scenes as one vertical strip."

Formats (32–35)

These last four ChatGPT anime prompts fit any style above to a destination: a phone screen, a sticker sheet, a banner, and a poster with a readable title. Name the ratio so the composition is built for it, and ask for 2K when it will be printed.

32. Phone Wallpaper 9:16

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a 9:16 anime phone wallpaper: a soft
painterly night sky with stars above, me in the lower third
looking up, a quiet city skyline far below, a cool blue palette
with one warm light from the [LEFT] matching the photo. Leave the
top half open for the clock. Keep my face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND
LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK], and
clothing. Keep my adult age and proportions; no childlike face. No
text, no extra characters. 2K.

What you'll get: A wallpaper with room left for the lock-screen clock.

Variation: Ask for "a daytime version with the same composition."

33. Sticker Sheet

code
Using my uploaded photo, create a sticker sheet of six chibi-style
stickers of me: waving, thumbs up, thinking, laughing, sleepy, and
holding a coffee. Thick clean outlines, flat colors, a white
sticker border about 4% of each sticker's width, on a true
transparent PNG background, not a drawn checkerboard. Keep my face
shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, and
[DISTINGUISHING MARK] in every sticker. Keep my adult age and
proportions in the face; no childlike face. No text. 1:1, 2K.

What you'll get: Six matched stickers that drop into any chat app.

Variation: Ask for "a short word like OK on two of them, spelled exactly."

34. Wide Banner 3:1

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as a 3:1 wide anime banner: me on the
[RIGHT] third in clean cel shading, a wide painterly landscape of
[ROLLING HILLS / A COASTLINE / A CITY AT DUSK] filling the rest,
soft light from the [LEFT] matching the photo. Leave the left
two-thirds uncluttered for a name later. Keep my face shape, [HAIR
COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone, [DISTINGUISHING MARK],
expression, and clothing. Keep my adult age and proportions; no
childlike face. No text, no extra characters. 3:1, 2K.

What you'll get: A profile banner with you off-center and space to spare.

Variation: Ask for "the same banner at 16:9."

35. Print Poster With Readable Title Text

code
Redraw my uploaded photo as an anime poster: a dramatic
three-quarter portrait in bold cel shading, hard light from [ABOVE
LEFT] matching the photo, a deep [COLOR] gradient background, and
the title "[YOUR TITLE]" in a bold clean sans-serif across the
bottom 15%, spelled exactly as written, no other words. Keep my
face shape, [HAIR COLOR AND LENGTH], [GLASSES], skin tone,
[DISTINGUISHING MARK], and expression. Keep my adult age and
proportions; no childlike face. 5% trim margin. 2:3 for an 18x24
inch print, 2K.

What you'll get: A print-ready poster with a readable title.

Variation: Add "a subtitle [SUBTITLE] under the title, spelled exactly."

Tips for Better Results With ChatGPT Anime Prompts

Name the cues that carry an anime likeness. "Dark brown hair to the collarbone, parted left, round tortoiseshell glasses, a mole under my right eye" holds; "keep my look" does not. The model protects what it is told to notice.

Check the age read at thumbnail size. Shrink the result to phone size beside your photo. If it reads as a teenager, add "adult proportions, defined jaw, no oversized eyes" and rerun on the original photo. ChatGPT Images 2.6 is about 50% faster than the previous version, so a rerun is quick, though each attempt still counts against the free plan's small daily allowance.

Save a reference image once it is right. ChatGPT Images 2.6 can keep a reference image of a person, a pet, or a character under a name you choose, and you call it back in a later chat by typing @ and that name in the prompt. Run one portrait until the likeness holds, save it, and build the wallpaper, stickers, and banner from that reference so the set shares one face.

Fix one element with the Select tool instead of rerunning. Hands, a glasses frame, a missing mark: open the result, choose Select, highlight the area, and describe the fix with the same keep list, or comment on the image to point at the spot. Edits can spread past the highlight, so keep the list in the follow-up.

Tip

Full restyles are where ChatGPT is strongest, so start anime and cartoon versions here. For one strict local change on the finished drawing where nothing else may move, such as recoloring one sleeve, Gemini's Nano Banana is more precise. Carry the same keep list across both tools.
